Due to popular demand, the general public (my karaoke friends from Massachusetts, usa) has requested the next song info to show on the big screen in dual screen mode. Currently, the next song info is shown on the computer screen where we select the songs. It is only available to the KVJ (Karaoke Video Junky (Jockey)).
Also, If it's possible, can you create an input box where I can enter the singer's name when they select the song?
As the current song is ending, the next song info, with singer's info will be displayed on the big screen. In a large party, it's convenient and give people enough time to pass down the microphone to the next singer when the screen tells who sings next. We love the dual screen mode, and I think most of the setup will be dual screen going forward.
I think there was a feature request for "Display requestor names (who request which songs)." If this can be done in the video screen, that would be great. Thanks.
If anyone thinks this is a good idea, please let our administrator know. He needs a confident vote from the general public. Please reply to post if you would like to vote for this feature.
Also, I had the pleasure to meet Truong Buu Chung last night at my friend's house. He's a good singer. And a very good cook. Made the best "DDo^` nha^.u". Remember the guy who play the flute in Truong Vu's "Xua Di Huyen Thoai"? Now, he's a singer and has his own dvd (karaoke dvd, too). Anyways, he's a good Karaoke singer too. Very impressive. He likes tkaraoke. I think tkaraoke is getting a lot of praise from everyone. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Truong Buu Trung is quite young huh? I had to use TKaraoke and search for "huyen thoai" to play that song and see him! Anyone know the girl that plays the flute in "Minh Oi!"? She plays so well and man, she is so hot!!! What are Buu Trung karaoke DVDs? Any online link to them?

Wow, the girl from this dvd look really cute. Truong Buu Trung has the Karaoke DVD with him that was put in the system so he can sing. For a couple songs, it was good. I don't know if the dvd is released or in store. I will let you know once I find it.

Yes, she's charming and her flute is just... awesome! If he's not selling his karaoke songs, ask if he can give us permission to ship his songs with TKaraoke so a fresh TKaraoke user can have some default songs to play with. Of course, this assumes he's the copyright owner of his songs. With his permission, we can encode his songs to mkv and make them downloadable from this website. We'll cite him for the credits of those songs.

Hi tongvo, Although this is a good idea, I think this should be program in the the info button on the remote or has the option to turn this option off in the menu. In the case of MP3+G if you overlay large text it will be hard to differentiate the karaoke text from display text, in MP3+G mode all you have are karaoke text on a solid background, and some of the songs has text up until 2 sec. from the end of a song. I think options to turn on and off is best. kdoweb

Don't get me wrong, I liked the idea but would like the option to not turn it on.

Well, not everyone uses the remote when setting up tkaraoke. We usually setup with a labtop and can move it from house to house. Remote is rare in some of my friends' house. Their computer is not even up to speed to run tkaraoke dual screen, so I had to use my labtop. I don't carry a remote around if my friend asks me to set up tkaraoke for him.
Anyway, I think it's an option and it should be turn on and off if someone does not like it. That's why we vote here. It's up to our administrator to decide what is best and what is working. The idea can be thought of, but the actual coding might be difficult.
I am just using karaoke songs from the DVD, rip it to single song and convert it to .mkv format, put the songs on an external hard drive and set up with a labtop. I only use one format because I think the song from the DVD has the best quality in sound and picture. I am not familiar with other formats of karaoke such as mp3 +G.
Let's vote.
BTW, I did not dare ask Truong Buu Trung about putting his songs online. I don't want him to think we are just a bunch internet downloader. My friend is ripping the dvd for me. It has like 5 songs. I will put it up on my website for download. Of course without his permission. But who knows, there is no traffic on my website. And I don't even know how code it so one can download a song. I am a websit newbie. But I will let you know when it's up. It will be in mkv format.

Request added. BTW, the flute player above is Bảo Ngọc. She's living in Quận Cam, Southern California. She goes to the temple quiet often. Didn't get a chance to meet her yet though but would love to.
