Hi vcdz382,

Once I installed version 1.3.0.026. 026 (including removed old version and reinstalled w/v 1.3.0.026), I can't even add song in Tkaraoke from File/Add Songs & select directory that contains AVI files which have been successfully play with older version or play avi file by right click on the AVI file in Windows Explorer and select Open With Tkaraoke. The results for the first case is no song show up in the Available Songs List and for the second case is no video plays. Please help and thanks!

Version 1.3.0.026 supports avi files just like version 1.3.0.025 does. Make sure your avi files are not inside a folder called "VIDEO_TS". TKaraoke treat VIDEO_TS folders differently. If your avi song files are not inside VIDEO_TS, I'm not sure why... Try this:
1. File-->Clear Songs
2. File-->Add Songs

vcdz382,
Thank you! Your suggestion does the trick--Clear Songs and then Add Songs even though there are no song to clear. hihihi Don't know why. Is that a little bug? hihihi Any way thanks for the quick response!

There probably is a little bug there. Unless you can remember exactly how you ran into that problem, it's hard for us to fix that bug - I never ran into that problem before. It's probably because you moved your songs around or something. It's always safe to CLEAR anyway :)

Oh, I renamed with a Vietnamese font. However, it should allow users to add songs to the Available Song List though. Probably, the songs that I was trying to add after renaming them with a Vietnamese font are already in the Available Song List (even though no songs displayed in the Available Songs List) so readding them would not add any more songs to the Available List and the reason why it didn't display any songs in the Available List would be I had changed the the path of the song when I renamed them with a Vietnamese font. I recalled that when I first try to Add Songs with the v 1.3.0.026, it prompted an error message "unhandled exception...could not find path due to part path... e:\karaoke\partialpath" with partial path showed in error message and the options of Continue or Cancel. Cancel would close Tkaraoke and no song added and Continue would remain in Tkaraoke but no song added. Clicking on Continue would not close Tkaraoke so I tried to Add Songs again and no song added but no error message received for the second time and on. Available Songs List is still empty. I hope that would help in figuring out the bug.

It happened to me before when one of the USB drive with some TKaraoke songs not plugged in.
Yep, clear songs and re-add songs would take care of any song directory changes.

This error occurs when one or more of your song folders were physically removed (got deleted or USB drive got disconnected). Version 1.3.0.028 should ignore removed song folders and move on instead of displaying an error.
