Thanks. Both of these are bugs. The second has been reported but we are having a hard time repeating this bug. If you can repeat the bug from scratch (quit TKaraoke and delete C:\Program Files\TSofts\TKaraoke\UserData\Settings.dat and then start TKaraoke again), please list the things you did that cause this bug to show up. For the first bug, please copy and paste a few sample song file names that caused.VOB to show up in the song name column. You can use TKT to do this quickly. While on TKT, click on File-->List Song Names and pick your song folder. TKT will copy the name of your songs into memory - all you have to do then is paste it onto your post.

Here are steps I did:
I reinstalled version 1.2.0.15 to confirm that the issue does not occur in earlier version.
1. Add songs using under File. (this will only load Ten Bai Hat with extension .VOB) 2. Click on any song to play (press ESC to extend full screen) 3. Double click on search windown to go back to FILE OPTIONS TOOLS Help 4. Go to OPTIONS ---> Columns (check and uncheck Hide columns will cause both song name and Ten Bai Hat columns appear)

OK. Think I know the isue with song names including VOB extension is. I included .VOB extension when I named the song names (I thought I neeeded to include extension when naming the song names). Versions 1.2.0.15 and older remove all VOB extensions but later versions only remove last VOB extension (the actual file extension):
version 1.2.0.015 and before: SongName.Vob (file name) SongName (Tên Bai Hát) SongName.Vob.Vob (file name) SongName (Tên Bai Hát) version 1.2.0.015 and after: SongName.Vob (file name) SongName.Vob (Tên Bái Hát) SongName.Vob.Vob (file name) SongName.Vob.Vob (Tên Bai Hát)
I have 1400 song names with VOB ẽxtension and it will take a long, long time to remove/rename files without VOB extensions. Do you know any DOS or Window Command to remove/rename without VOB extension at once? Or can you change your song names parsing logic?
Greatly appreciated!

I'm not aware of any command in DOS or Windows to do that. You might wanna check out this bulk renaming utility discovered by kdoweb. If you really can't do it, we can modify TKT to rename all 1400 files for you in 5 seconds! It will take us about 5 minutes to write though the code though. http://www.tkaraoke.com/forum/tkaraoke_postst332_Renaming-karaoke-files-with-bulk-rename-utility.aspx

Window does not show VOB file extension and I thought I need VOB extension when naming those file names. Really appreciate for your offer though! If you would do that on next release that would be great. I guess I am the only one names file names with VOB extension. Thank you very much!

Hi bnguyenar1, you can use bulk rename utility to do this in about 5 seconds download and install run the program select all the songs you want to remove extension for. On the lower right hand side of the screen you will see Extension (11) click on the drop down and select remove and all your extension will be remove leaving you with only .vob and not .vob.vob kdoweb File Attachment(s): bulkrename.jpg (334kb) downloaded 144 time(s).
