Hi,
i was referred here by a friend. This seems like the software i've been looking for. What would be a great feature is to play/queue the songs from a one computer but also have the ability to add songs to the list using another computer. So the scenario would be a desktop playing fullscreen all the time. While using another laptop to access the queue list via a browser or something and queue up more songs w/o interrupting the current song.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

This feature is already built-in windows itself. If you have dual monitors (or LCD TV, projector) select video output to your LCD TV and resize you preview video on your computer to smaller screen so you can see the song selection list. This is a new feature. I wish they would implement my request for new feature like just show favorite song lists instead of my entire song collections.

Very interesting suggestion. We certainly can enable TKaraoke so that other computers within your Intranet can connects to TKaraoke over HTTP to issue commands including playlist operation commands. However, we are not sure how "high tech" our TKaraoke users are. This is an advanced feature. Basically, feature with most requests will be implemented first. Members can reply to the original request post to add more weight into it. As for the ability to add songs without interupting the current song, this can be best done with using a remote control. With the remote control, you can key in the 4-digit song number and press enter to add a new song. To test this feature out w/o the remote control, press 1 on your keyboard and you should see the "Enter Song Number" message on the screen. Next, type in the 4 digits song number and press Enter on the keyboard. Supporting remote control is one of the most advanced features of TKaraoke but many users are not aware of it.

I do realize that most users wouldn't think about that :) BTW, I noticed that you're using TSDB, and from what I found on Google, it's most suited for SNMP data ....... which is "network data" :) so that's very promising ...... pls keep this in mind if you guys find a free moment :) Thanks

I think this feature is mostly useful for business (i.e. Karaoke bars in which everyone can hear you sing--not the karaoke bars with separate rooms). Customers at each table can add/queue their songs without the need for a karaoke Jockey. Maybe the developers of this software can create a Professional version of TKaraoke with this feature incorporated in it and make some money off it. ;-)

It' also useful in a large party for the host to "show off". Imagine using his iPhone to queue the songs for the guess :)

yes, this is a cool feature to have, most ppl these days will likely have a laptop or 2 at home and can use it to select songs instead of having to read through the hardcopy song list, also when new song added they can see it right away without waiting for reprint of songlist.
netbooks are cheap now too and one with touch screen will serve well with tkaraoke http queuing :).

This seriously would be a kick ass feature. I've been using xbmc to play my karaoke vobs until I found this site. And the only feature I miss from xbmc karaoke wise is the ability to queue songs via the web interface. If you guys could somehow manage to add this feature into tkaraoke, it will be the best karaoke player hands down no contest. Seriously, please consider adding this feature in when you guys have sometime.
Cheers, anoobie
