I got an application error when I queued up about 15-20 mp3+g songs and letting it play normally about 3-4 song into the process I would get an application error and tkaraoke would freeze. This happen with both version 007 and 008. I've email a screen shot to support@tkaraoke.com I'm on Vista 32bit and 4GB of RAM so I know memory is not low.

Can you repeat this error? Pay attention to the time/percent when this happen. I saw "100" for the time. Is that 100% or what?

File Attachment(s):
tkaraoke error.jpg (435kb) downloaded 80 time(s).

I was able to repeat the error about 4 times so far. I's sure I can duplicate the error again because this happen on 2 machine one running 007 and the other running 008. Let me try to duplicate the error again from my other pc and send you another pic.

I got the error again by queue up about 14 songs and letting it play, and at the end of the third song I got the error. The error always happen at the end of the song when transitioning to the next song. sometimes 4 to 5 before the error. The 100% was at the end of the current song.

I'm able to repeat this once in 3 runs. The crash appeared to originate in libcdg_plugin. I believed this only happen on MP3+G files. Can you repeat this on other files such as MKV and VOB? We will be releasing version 1.2.0.009 that might fix this issue.

I think the problem may be song specific, the song play in vlc ok but I see graphics corruption at the end of the song in VLC but no error. I upload the song to the ftp. this is one of the song that error every time. Also this error only pertain to MP3+g not vob or mkv.

You are right, it's song specific. Playing "I saw her standing there" crashes TKaraoke everytime. It also crashes VLC 0.98a everytime.

I will hunt down all the songs with error and see if it can be played with other player like winanp or other player.

I've hunted down about 16 songs that I have that make vlc and tkaraoke error out at the end of the songs. I can apprently play these songs in winamp just fine, I tried the vlc nightly build 9.9rc2 from mar 28 with no luck. Hope vlc fix this in there next release. Or can tkaraoke use a different plugin to display the cdg graphics? I think the problem are in the graphics files.

Member Hunglex is looking to decode kar and cdg files for us. If he find a way, we'll incorporate that into TKaraoke to support better CDG and to support KAR files.
