I generate a song catalog in TKaraoke. The numbers is in order but song names is not in alphabet order. If I got song names in alphabet order then the numbers is not in order. Please show me how to get numbers & song names both in order. Or they both should in order the first time when you generate song catalog in Tkaraoke before you copy from notepad to MS word.
Sorry post in wrong section, Please move it for me.

See this video. In Word, you can sort by multiple columns. For example, you can sort by "Song Name" and then by "Song Number."

I think he means how to renumber all of the songs so that the songs are in alphabetical order and the numbers are also in order at the same time

You can do that in Word. Under the Sort options, you will see "Sort by" and "Then By" and "Then By". So you actually can sort by 3 columns in Word. In your case, you just specify the first 2 (Song Name and Then By Song Number).

Can TKaroke generate catalog number according to the sorting already specified? If I already click the Song Name tab, Then when I generate catalog, TKaroke should create the number accordingly.

Bạn open tkaraok.txt, rồi copy all.

File Attachment(s):
9600 songs, Dung,01052010, 2tb.pdf (2,685kb) downloaded 236 time(s).

Sorry post in wrong section, Please move it for me.

I had the same problem. I figured out that the song numbers are generated in order and are in accordance with the alphabetical order of the authors name.

For example if your filenames are like these:

Author A - Singer A - Song B.vob
Author B - Singer A - Song A.vob

then the Song Generated Catalog will be like this with the numbers:

0001 - Song B (Singer A)
0002 - Song A (Singer A)

notice that song numbers are in order but song names are not in alphabetical order.

To get around this, I renamed all the author names in my files into numbers. That is instead of a filename like this: Author A - Singer A - Song A.vob, I would rename it to this: 0001 - Singer A - Song A.vob. Increase the number in the beginning of the filename accordingly. That does the trick for me. The problem with this method is, TKaraoke will no longer display the real name of Tac Gia in the "Tac Gia" column (it will display the numbers given instead) because there is no longer any name there (just numbers). I always hide that column anyway, so it's a non-issue for me. Hope that helps.
