TKaraoke v1.4.0.061 has been released. Starting with this version, the toolbar (search box, play/pause/skip/repeat buttons and current/next song info) will automatically hide when the mouse cursor moves away from the top. This behavior is like the Windows Taskbar in auto-hide mode. Move the mouse cursor near the top to make the toolbar re-appear. This auto-hide feature will only kick in when you are playing a song in Single-monitor mode. When not playing any song or when playing in Dual-monitor mode, the toolbar is always visible.

This version also remembers the main window's position across runs. Future versions will also remember the video window position across runs.

Yes, it's under the Beta section. Just so everyone know, any release that has an odd build number (i.e. 061) will be under the Beta section. Beta versions have not been fully tested. Advanced users can try out beta versions but Newbies might wanna stick to the stable releases.

Did the new "remember windows position" feature fit your need? Any bug you found on this build?

The hidden-toolbar feature makes the video window JERKY during the process! I need to explore futher. Also, see below.

You ran TKaraoke and moved the Window to a particular location on the screen. You also resized this window to fit your need. Then you quit TKaraoke. The next day you run again. TKaraoke should appear exactly where you had it yesturday - both position and size.

Got U! - Sorry, I was confused about the "Main Window" - I have justed tested it out a few times and it appeared to work as intended.

Can't wait for:

Also,
I think I know why "the hidden-toolbar feature makes the video window JERKY during the process!" - The video window (in full screen mode) expands during the toolbar-hidden process and contracts when the toolbar reappears - This would make the video looks JERKY.

Also, more often than not the toolbar does not reappear as intended when I move the cursor up to the top edge of the main window; I need to do it a few times for the toolbar to reappear - Is this a bug?

I posted the quote above and for the benefits of the members, I don't think this is a bug!

I re-tested it and here is what I found out:
When you move the cursor up to make the toolbar to reappear do NOT move the cursor into (or pass ) the "Video Window BLUE BAR"; just move the cursor CLOSER to the lower edge of the BLUE BAR and the toolbar would reappear momentarily.

What's the "blue bar"? You mean the app's title bar? Are you running TKaraoke in windowed mode or fullscreen mode? Fullscreen mode shouldn't have the title bar.

I am running TKaraoke in full-video screen under windowed mode with multiple applications (i.e. - Tkaraoke + WinAmpm + Internet + others) so I need to see all my apps on the Windows Taskbar for ease of switching. I am not sure if this make any sense but it is my preference.

All in all, it works as intended in full screen mode. For the benefits of the members, they should refer to my post above if they should like to run in windowed Mode.

For the members that don't already know, "Double Clicks" the "Left Mouse Button" to switch between Full and Windowed Modes.

Stable version 1.4.0.062 has been released. You can now disable the auto-hide feature by unchecking "Auto Hide the Toolbar" from the Options menu.

Thank you for the hard work! - Most looks good to me so far except for:

1. In the windowed mode the Video Resizing Feature doesn't seem to work correctly!

2. Switching between the "windows full-screen and Restore" modes don't seem to work right either - The "Available and Queued Windows" turn black. However, I can live with this by clicking on the "Wiggly Icon" to re-display them (a little inconvenience).

I will test further and let you know the details.

It sounds like your PC graphic card is not keeping up. Any area that turns "black" until you force a refresh is a sign that the graphic card over its head. Do you have any other PC that is a little newer to try on? A cheap laptop I bought last month at Fry for $329 can handle dual-monitor mode without any issue and no black screen ever.

I do see the "black screen" issue sometimes when I test TKaraoke under a virtual machine. Virtual machine graphic is very weak because it's a software simulation. I also see the black screen issue on my 5 years old Dell laptop. Anything newer than 5 years old seem to work fine :)

BTW, TKaraoke version 1.2.0.002 doesn't require a decent graphic card. There should be no "black screen" issue in this version. Unforunately, this version doesn't support dual-monitor mode and doesn't have any of the recent features. This is a "compatible version" designed for older PCs.
