Just have picked this baby up for $729.99 + Tax @Best Buy - Not bad price for all the features including Blu-ray Drive! - Hope it works with TKaraoke in Exteneded Dual Screens (ATI Graphic Card!).

The video card is shared (not dedicated) but has a nice HDMI output. Try it out and let me know if you still see any issue with the black screen.

AMD is not the good processor. Easy getting hot and the processor will be slow down when it hot. You should try any laptop with Intel 2 core dual 2.0 to 2.2, 3-4 GB rams they are HOT :D

Connected to the TV using HDMI and configured as extended desktop mode. The TKaraoke video screen doesn't display on the TV (secondary screen) just the Windows Background. Any Clues?

Since you configure the 2nd monitor as "extended desktop mode" it should display just the background.
You have to drag non-maximized screen(s) to your 2nd monitor manually.
Think
Or you can select "Dual Monitor Mode" for TKaraoke then double click on video portion of TKaraoke display --> the 2nd monitor will display TK video.
Liar
Windows Vista "Clone Mode" might be what you looking for ... instead of "extended desktop mode"

Dual-monitor setup (extended mode like you have):
1. Enable Dual-monitor mode via the Options menu in TKaraoke.
2. Start playing a song so the video window shows up (docked to the right of the main screen).
3. Drag the video window to your TV screen.
4. Double-click on the video window to maximize.

Single-monitor setup (clone mode or output only to the TV):
1. Disable Dual-monitor mode via the Options menu in TKaraoke.
2. Drag TKaraoke window to the TV screen (if not already on it).
3. Press CTRL+Enter to maximize.
4. Start playing a song.

Sux!

I guess the ATI Mobile Graphics does not work like the Desktop ATI Video Card! - I just have to use the Laptop in the Clone mode.

On the Desktop I can configure the Video Screen appears on both displays but not on the Laptop in Extended Mode. On the Desktop I have all the normal Program Controls with the Video Screen and only the Video Screen in full-screen on the TV. I was hoping that I would be able to do the same on the Laptop! Brick wall Brick wall Brick wall

BTW - I really like Win7 (64bit); it is so much faster than the Vista - Win7 should be a free upgrade for the owners of Vista :)

Hi all,

Off the topic....I am having a DELL Inspiron 6400, and now the monitor is having a bunch of solid lines in part of the monitor...What could be wrong with it? Is it easy to replace the screen and where can I buy replacement one? Thanks in advance....

HP.
