This is a tricky question because we don't know your Video Card nor your TV! Try to play around with the video settings first then the TV. It has to do with the "Scan" property setting. I am older than the Earth :)

In the Extended Mode - Select your Secondary Display (Your TV) and play around with the setting. Here is how: Minimize all your applications. Right click your desktop. Select properties. Click on Settings Tab. Select #2 Tuner from the Displays (pull-down menu in the middle of the window). Play around with the settings - specifically, the "Scan Mode Property" if available. Note - You may want to use the Video Card Control Panel (program) to configure your TV, instead and if available. Good luck and have FUN. I am older than the Earth :)

TV: Toshiba 43H71 43 HDTV-Ready Projection TV - Video Card : Intel graphics media accelerator drive for Mobil version 7.14.10.1295 Most of older TVs (including HD Ready TV) provide Low resolution for VGA Input connection. I've been there, done that. You might try 800x600 resolution, maybe ... maybe not. So it wouldn't surprise me your Projection TV doesn't support 1024x768. I think you got to use what you have available. Unless you want to upgrade your Entertainment System ... Why Not? j/k My computers and PS3 are fighting cancers Here's how http://folding.stanford.edu/
